Hyejin Kim

Hyejin Kim is a writer and education consultant who currently lives in Singapore. She studied anthropology in university in Korea and received her M.A. in China Studies and Ph.D. in Global Affairs in the U.S. She has written two books in Korean. Jia is her first book for an English-speaking audience.  Her next book, an anthropological study of Korean communities in China, is forthcoming from Palgrave Macmillan. She has lived in Korea, the United States, China, and Singapore. She is also the Korean editor of Global Voices, an award-winning website founded at Harvard University, and a voice actor. She sometimes works as a lecturer. Writing Contemporary Historical Fiction, Saturday, March 6, 4pm.
