Oliver Haidutschek

1976• Austria

The self proclaimed ‘net-artist’ explores different phenomena that occur in and through social media by meddling with visual trends such as marble, plants, pastel colours and tattoo motifs. Creating work under the moniker, Aoto Oouchi, Oliver Haidutschek took to painting at 15 years old under the guidance of his grandfather and later studied at the Academy of Fine Art in Vienna. Fuelled by a desire to generate art quickly and by using cost-effective, everyday material, he swapped brushes and palettes for Photoshop and Indesign midway through his studies.
