Chris Williams

While attending the University of California at Santa Barbara, Capital M Restaurant Manager Chris Williams fell in love with the local wine country and decided to stay on after graduation.  He spent the next several years working at some of Santa Barbara’s best restaurants, and heading to Santa Barbara wine country during harvest, where he assisted at a friend’s winery -- especially with tastings!

Although quite a departure from the California lifestyle, the emerging culinary scene in China appeals to Chris’s sense of adventure and he enjoys sharing his passion for food and wine.

“I enjoy the intersection of Western and Eastern cultures in Beijing.  I like to think of myself as an ambassador of food and wine,” he says.
